Getting Ready to Ride Through California
This Friday, 9/30/11, I retire! So what better way to celebrate than to go for a bike ride!
My plan is to leave Monday and head up through the California central valley about 400 miles to Fresno, then cross the mountains to the coast at Cayucos and ride back to San Diego. I'll take a tent so I can camp when I feel like it, or stay in motels when I don't. I hope the weather cooperates.
